Unifying Safety Nets & Surface Movement is the name of a project reflecting the joint effort made by 15 aviation partners in 9 EU countries to modernize Air Traffic Management (ATM). The aim of this unprecedented initiative is to improve ATM performance in Europe through the modernization and harmonization of the ATM systems that will enhance the safety for the passengers at the involved airports.




Unifying Safety Nets & Surface Movement is led by one of the world’s largest Airport Operators, Groupe Aéroports De Paris (ADP).

Together with the following 14 partners, spread over 9 EU countries, Groupe ADP aims to help harmonize and synchronize the airport deployment of safety, airport throughput, cost-effectiveness and environmental benefits in Europe, while facilitating interoperability and contributing to reduce the defragmentation among stakeholders.
